Do you believe in magic?
And if so… what is magic to you?

We often use the word magic when something happens without a clear explanation—when life surprises us with something that feels supernatural, impossible, or beautifully mysterious.

According to Britannica, magic is defined as “a power that allows people to do impossible things by saying special words or performing special actions.”

But words are full of stories, and this one has traveled far. Its history weaves through Greek, Hebrew, and Old Persian roots. The Old-Persian form comes from magh, meaning “to be able.” I love that. The idea that magic isn’t about tricks or illusions, but about ability, potential, power.

Curious, I asked my son what magic is. His answer was the following and he magically made it all rhyme 🙂 :
“Dragons, fairies.
Something that you don’t see.
Something that you don’t hear.
Like taking a ball from behind someone’s ear.” 💕

Children often understand magic better than we do, they are still closer to the world unseen…

To me, magic implies mystery—a reminder that many of us only perceive a tiny fraction of what is possible. Perhaps things appear “magical” only because our awareness has been limited… because we’ve been taught to doubt what cannot be measured or explained.

So maybe the question isn’t, Does magic exist?
Maybe it’s, Are we willing to see more?

Because the truth is, we all have the ability to create a magical life.

When we focus our attention with intention,
When we expand our sense of awareness,
When we tap into the intelligence of the heart,
When we learn to move energy,
When we connect with Spirit…

…we begin to experience life in a different way. A more aligned, more open, more authentic way.

I believe these times are calling all of us to remember the magical aspect within us, to become co-creators of our reality and stewards of our energy.

You don’t have to walk that journey alone.

As always, I am here to support you. If you’re curious how a session can bring clarity, ease, healing, or meaningful change into your life, reach out. Sometimes the first step toward magic is simply saying yes to yourself.
